Working Tax Credit

The Working Tax Credit is a means-tested payment, which is designed to top-up the earnings of working people on low incomes, including those who do not have children.

The Working Tax Credit is available to employees and the self-employed, and there are extra amounts available for working households in which someone has a disability, and it also includes support for the costs of qualifying childcare.
