Carers Allowance
The Carer’s Allowance is a weekly paid benefit that is paid to those people who look after someone who is either disabled or in poor health.
You do not have to have paid National Insurance Contributions (NICs) to qualify for the Carer’s Allowance, and as a non-means tested benefit, your personal circumstances should not affect the amount that you are likely to receive.
